Aarti Sundaran
Registered Physiotherapist
Aarti Sundaran is a registered physiotherapist with a strong commitment to helping people move with confidence, comfort, and independence. She is excited to be rejoining Ridley Heights Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre, where she previously built trusted relationships with both patients and colleagues.
Aarti holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and brings over a decade of international and Canadian experience, with a clinical focus on musculoskeletal and post-operative rehabilitation. Her work spans private orthopaedic clinics, hospital-based outpatient care, and most recently, providing physiotherapy services to remote Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario.
Her approach is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, recognizing the physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that influence pain and recovery. Known for her strong listening skills, Aarti takes the time to understand each patient’s goals and designs individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support long-term recovery.
Aarti combines clinical reasoning with hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, pain management strategies, and patient education to empower patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Patients value her calm, compassionate manner and the supportive environment she creates.
Outside of work, Aarti enjoys painting, hiking, travelling, and photography, which reflect her appreciation for creativity, movement, and balance in everyday life.
